It is inevitable that some failures will occur when the car is used for a long time, which is also a normal phenomenon. Automobile sensors should be familiar to everyone. They mainly play the role of detection and feedback, so as to effectively control exhaust emissions, reduce automobile environmental pollution, and improve the fuel combustion quality of automobile engines. The importance of the sensor is self-evident, so the country has very strict requirements for the sensor. Every car owner should also pay attention to the maintenance of this component, and do not wait for problems to be solved. At this time, someone will ask: "How do you see if there is a problem with this part of me?" Usually, there are two sensors in the front and rear of our common car. The front is to detect the working status of the engine. If there is a problem, let the owner know in time. The back is to better match the front and detect exhaust emissions. If there is a problem, these 3 phenomena will generally appear!
The first is the increase in pollutant emissions, and one of the exhaust gas inspections during the annual inspection fails to meet the standards, resulting in unqualified annual inspections. In fact, this is easy to understand, because although the three-way catalytic converter can purify exhaust gas, its purification capacity is limited. Once the oxygen sensor works abnormally, it will cause insufficient engine combustion and increase pollutant emissions. Even if the three-way catalytic converter works normally, it will not help. Therefore, if the annual inspection of old car exhaust does not meet the standard, in addition to cleaning the three-way catalytic converter, you should also consider cleaning or replacing the oxygen sensor.
Secondly, if the signal transmitted by the oxygen sensor is not accurate, and the signal of excessive oxygen content is continuously transmitted to the engine computer, then the computer will control more fuel injection, resulting in an over-rich mixture and an increase in fuel consumption. In most cases, there will be a fault code if the oxygen sensor is broken, and the engine fault light will be on, telling the driver to repair it in time. But sometimes it is not completely broken, but the work is not very sensitive, the fault code will not be generated, and the engine fault light will not be on, so the driver does not know it, which causes a certain increase in fuel consumption. In this case, only by checking the data stream can you know that the oxygen sensor is abnormal. Under normal circumstances, its data has been changing. If it changes once for a long time, it means that there is a fault.
Finally, the car started slowly. The delivery vehicle could be started within 5 seconds, but the start-up time is longer and the vehicle speed is also unstable. This shows that there is a problem with the front oxygen sensor. The ECU cannot strictly control the amount of oil. There will be inorganic oil or too much or too little oil. As a result, the engine performance is unstable and jitters, and it will also damage the life of the engine. Therefore, when your car has these problems, in the case of troubleshooting other faults, be sure to check whether the sensor is normal. Although carbon deposition cannot be avoided, as long as you pay more attention, you can reduce carbon deposition, such as reducing idling. Time, avoid parking for long periods of time, frequent high-speeds, etc. Once carbon deposits occur, clean them up in time!
